Vyners School celebrate GCSE results

Posted by Dan Coombs on Aug 27, 09 01:20 PM in Schools/colleges

THERE were whoops of joy at Vyners School as pupils picked up their exam results.

The school, in Warren Road, Ickenham, saw 82 per cent of its pupils get five A* to C grades or more.

Sue Gould, headteacher, said: "I'm so excited, we've been consistently working hard and so have the children.

"We have focused on English and maths and there has been a real improvement, there have been so many outstanding achievements it would be unfair to single anybody out."

The school also recorded results of five A* to C grades including English and maths.

We'd like to hear from you.
